Farmers, fruit growers and stable owner are busy people. What G E White & Sons offers is a company that gets on with the job with the minimum of fuss, tackling problems that arise and bringing in the experts they need.
If you want to keep a close eye on how your new building is progressing, that’s fine – but if you would rather get on with the day job and let the builders get on with the building, talk to G E White & Sons.
The company has its own groundworks machinery and can tackle the whole project, from installing the access roads to installing the electrical supply, designing bespoke windows and doors if necessary and even, on one occasion, erecting and installing flat pack stables!
Mark Howland, from United Grab Hire, values the team spirit that has developed with the G E White & Sons operation. “We do all the concreting for Gary and his team and they also do some infrastructure work for us,” he said. “It’s a great outfit to be involved with and very rewarding to work alongside such a great bunch of professional people.”
When Bill Bridges bought Mynthurst Farm, near Leigh in Surrey, two years ago, he knew he would need a reliable company to renovate, and in some cases completely rebuild, the tired and rundown buildings on the site.
In G E White & Sons he found just the team he was looking for, with the result that Gary and Jason have become almost a permanent fixture at the farm. So far they have built a new 45m by 20m cow shed and a new50m by 30m grain store at the site, converted an old silage clamp into a straw shed and completely transformed a sheep shed with a new roof, walls and doors.
“I wouldn’t have anybody else,” said Bill. “Having a team you can trust is priceless.”
Gary Moore, who runs Cisswood Stables in Horsham, Surrey, wanted a company that could take on the task of building a new barn without any fuss, leaving him to look after 100 racehorses and 34 staff.
G E White & Sons handled the whole project and even reused old stable doors
