Agricultural Projects

When Bill Bridges bought Mynthurst Farm, near Leigh in Surrey, two years ago, he knew he would need a reliable company to renovate, and in some cases completely rebuild, the tired and rundown buildings on the site.

In G E White & Sons he found just the team he was looking for, with the result that Gary and Jason have become almost a permanent fixture at the farm. So far they have built a new 45m by 20m cow shed and a new50m by 30m grain store at the site, converted an old silage clamp into a straw shed and completely transformed a sheep shed with a new roof, walls and doors.

“I wouldn’t have anybody else,” said Bill. “Having a team you can trust is priceless.”

The 26m by 24m hay store with 6m lean-to extension built for Lord Rufus Albemarle at Hurst Barns Farm, East Chiltington, features custom cut Yorkshire boarding that allows flexible access from all sides of the building. The galvanised steel barn has a fibre cement roof designed to take solar PV panels at some point in the future.
